Lead Product Designer, Provider

Job Description

• Collaborate closely with the provider team to help deliver strategic initiatives, build the design team and jump in to help teams execute wherever needed • Use product thinking, visual design, and system steward skills to collaborate with a talented and mission-driven cross-functional team to evolve the product vision and build product solutions • Continue to build the provider design team, culture, and foundation and support the professional development of the team members • Advocate the value of design at the Exec level and push for a design excellence culture at Headway

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Product Design experience • Experience in leading and delivering product solutions of large and/or ambiguous scope at the systems level • Experience in managing a design team or mentoring/coaching designers to realize their career aspirations • Inspired by complex customer problems, early stage product development, setting vision, and helping teams hold a high bar for craft • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects • Experience working cross-functionally, with the ability to present, motivate and inspire others • Motivated by the mission to solve the biggest problems in mental health care today (access and affordability)
