Senior Data Scientist
Job Location: Remote
Job Description
• Understanding requirements, gathering information about client’s data and diving into data to create insights, ultimately driving sound business decisions. • Writing code and implementing the proposed solutions. • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, security, and compliance through quality control procedures. • Develop, implement and maintain advanced analytical and optimization techniques to solve business problems. • Establish key performance tracking metrics for deployed models and solutions and monitor ongoing solution performance. • Explore and implement semantic data capabilities through Natural Language Processing, text analysis, and machine learning techniques. • Conduct research on data model optimization and algorithms to improve effectiveness and accuracy. • Collaborate with other teams on the client side to find impactful solutions to business problems. • Develop efficient and scalable models. • Apply and/or develop statistical modeling techniques (such as deep neural networks and Bayesian models), optimization methods and other ML techniques
Qualifications
• Demonstrated expertise with a minimum of 5+ years of experience as data scientist or similar role. • Solid foundation utilizing machine learning algorithms to develop predictive analytics solutions. • Experience working with Cloud Data Science offerings (e.g., AWS Sagemaker, Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive services, etc.). • Strong Python skills with hands-on experience on libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Tensorflow, Pytorch etc. • Strong expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines and infrastructure using cloud-based data warehouse platforms. • Self-start with the ability to learn, adapt, improvise and problem solve with poise in a rapidly changing environment. • Strong team player and ability to work in a collaborative environment. • Growth mindset - ability to learn and take initiative to keep up with the latest technology. • Experience working with Generative-AI, LLMS, prompt engineering. • Experience working directly with stakeholders with analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
