Director Solution Architecture - SIEM and Security Analytics (US Remote)

Job Description

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Extensive background and expertise in data ingestion and solution architecture for multiple SIEM technologies • A minimum of five years of experience as a field systems engineer /architect, sales engineer or consultant supporting large enterprise customers • Strong grasp of general networking concepts and proficiency in Linux • Deep understanding of security and information event management (SIEM) principles, methodologies and architecture • Hands-on experience and proficiency with data ingestion for multiple SIEM platforms such as ArcSight, SPLUNK, NetWitness, QRadar, McAfee SIEM, or similar tools. Splunk expertise is required. • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl • Openness to coaching and a proactive approach to training/feedback • Self-motivated, displaying a robust work ethic • Clear and concise communicator with strong interpersonal skills • Demonstrated ability to manage data ingestion timelines and quality, while driving automation and scalability.
