Job Description

• The core mission of the Orders team is to provide reliable, transparent and extensible restaurant order orchestration. Our team also provides restaurants with an accurate measure of their success and the tools to improve it. • Data-Driven Development: Contribute to a data-centric development team. • Project Planning: Engage in strategic planning for various internal tools. • Agile Methodologies: Implement and test software using agile methodologies. • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a collaborative team to enhance and support technology. • Code Contribution: Write, debug, maintain, and test code for diverse projects. • Architectural Design: Design scalable systems with a focus on architecture. • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. • Innovation: Drive innovation within the team and support Otter´s technological advancements.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Software, Computer Systems or Networks Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field. • Experience: 5-8 years of domain experience in the specified role. • Individual Contribution: A track record of significant contributions in previous roles, showcasing your ability to make a meaningful impact. • Strong ability to design and create long-lasting architecture from scratch and evolve existing systems. • Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to collaborate with non engineering stakeholders. • Experience in designing and implementing distributed systems that are scalable, reliable, and efficient. • Experience in maintaining and extending large-scale, high traffic applications.
