Flight Test Engineer - NYPD

Job Description

• Validate SW changes to ensure a stable flying platform • Interface with customers to help support integration and test needs • Execute flights at NYC and occasionally at test sites nearby • Assist in collection of flight data for competitive benchmarking • Improve the Skydio Dock full end-to-end experience

Qualifications

• Software QA/testing background • Part 107 Certification • Consider yourself a jack of all trades • Solid debugging of hardware and software systems • Enjoy working on multiple projects at the same time • Practical experience with UAS • Understanding of UAS subsystems and their real-world performance • Basic mechanical and electrical system integration knowledge • Experience operating Linux based systems • Demonstrated passion for things that fly • Thorough communication and documentation skills • Interest in spending time outdoors • Experience testing web-based applications

Benefits

• Annual base salary range of $100,000 - $132,000 • Eligible to enroll in benefit plans and incentives • Variety of stipends available
