Staff Data Engineer

Job Description

• Lead enhancement of internal processes and scaling infrastructure • Design and implement advanced data infrastructure • Develop sophisticated analytical tools for insights into business metrics • Architect and manage extensive data sets • Engage with stakeholders and provide technical data expertise • Mentor other senior engineers and lead cross-team initiatives • Contribute to technical direction and project management • Stay updated on new technologies and standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master’s or PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline • 6+ years designing, building, and maintaining Data infrastructure • Proficiency in programming languages like Python and Scala • Strong knowledge of distributed computing frameworks and cloud platforms • Experience with Databricks • Proficiency in Git, Terraform, and CI/CD practices • Knowledge of event-driven systems and data governance frameworks • Deep understanding of data security principles
