Engineering Manager - Infrastructure

Job Description

• Manage, develop, and grow a talented team of AI, systems, and backend engineers • Deliver AI systems capabilities to enable new workflows in the Snorkel Flow platform • Impact on the architecture, design, development, and operations of large-scale data-focused AI systems and interactive product workflows • Collaborate with product management, field team members, and customers • Contribute to Snorkel’s engineering culture through mentorship, open communication, user empathy, and advocacy of strong engineering practices

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field • 12+ years of professional experience designing and building data-intensive software systems • 4+ years of engineering management experience • 4+ years of professional experience designing and building AI-focused software systems • Significant experience in building data or AI systems for unstructured data modalities such as natural language, images, or video • Experience building enterprise-grade, user-facing software products • Experience with architecting and developing production web-scale systems
