Engineering Manager - Infrastructure

Job Description

• Manage, develop, and grow a talented team of infrastructure, operations, deployment, and cloud engineers • Work with the rest of our product, engineering and research teams to help design and lead the implementation of our internal systems to support the growth of the company • Collaborate with product management, field team members, and customers to understand and build the roadmap for product and process improvements to meet our customers’ needs around deployment, supportability • Directly contribute to deliver parts of the roadmap alongside the team • Actively contribute to Snorkel’s engineering culture through mentorship, open communication, user empathy, advocacy of strong engineering practices, and more

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience • 6+ years of professional experience developing systems and process to provision enterprise software in cloud and on-premise environments • 2+ years of engineering management experience • Experience with architecting and developing software to enterprise-grade requirements, particularly with respect to supportability, security, governance, and manageability • Experience at high-growth technology startups • Strong background building and deploying with Kubernetes and Helm • Strong background managing and deploying on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud • Background in managing internal development systems like CI/CD, performance and load testing infrastructure, deployment tooling • Familiarity with operations and devops systems and processes • Experience developing and mentoring engineers
