Payroll Specialist

Job Description

• Supporting US and Canada payrolls • Facilitating the transfer of payroll data to a Third-Party Payroll provider • Serving as first point of contact for pay and tax questions • Administering and managing timesheets • Auditing payroll for accuracy • Performing special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience • 5+ years of experience as a payroll specialist • Experience working with a 3rd Party Payroll Managed Service • UKG Payroll experience • Advanced in Microsoft Excel • Strong knowledge of payroll related laws (Canada payroll experience a PLUS) • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Must be organized, detail oriented and produce accurate work • Must have a strong work ethic, be dependable and trustworthy
