Lead Software Engineer (6-Month Contract)

Job Description

• Architect, develop, test, and deploy new features and improvements to systems and tools used by Wikimedia community • Partner with Foundation staff and volunteers on software design and development • Help implement best practices in engineering processes • Ensure positive and constructive discussions with the community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field • Experience with Object-Oriented development using scripting languages • Interest in front-end web application development skills • Strong written communication skills
