Product Operations Manager
Job Location: Manhattan, New York
Job Description
• As Manager of Product Operations, your primary responsibility will be ensuring seamless and strategic product planning, operational efficiency, and cross-functional accountability throughout the end-to-end product lifecycle management process. You will work in close collaboration with Product Leaders, Business Units, and cross functional teams at all levels and contribute to the success of Product Management by optimising processes, managing resources, and ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality products and services.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in Product Operations or similar operations role • Experience being the direct owner and driver of product planning, tracking, and release processes • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels • Excellent leadership and persuasion skills and the ability to lead without direct authority • Deep understanding of the needs of different stakeholders in a Product organization, from executive leadership to ICs • An ability to execute on and deliver complex projects involving multiple stakeholders • Proven track record of measurable process improvement and operational efficiency. • Proven track record of identifying and mitigating operational risks that may impact product delivery timelines and quality. Ability to proactively address issues and bottlenecks. • Radical simplification mindset. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform strategies. • Proven ability to facilitate strategic prioritization and bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring plans translate into effective actions. • Track record of making difficult decisions and tradeoffs in the face of ambiguity and incomplete data. • Experience building operational tools in Jira and Confluence
