Salary: $140,000 - $145,000 a year
Job Description
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide product and user experience solutions to meet the business needs • Develops high-level business requirements and translates them into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications • Prepares requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations • Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures • Resolves a wide range of issues in innovative and practical ways • Strong knowledge of product management best practices, functional design, and application delivery methodology • Understands basic project management methodology • Customer-focused with high-quality standards • Demonstrates strong interpersonal, business communication, and writing skills • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in their area of expertise • Strong decision-making capabilities will result in meeting schedules and/or functional goals of the department/unit • Frequently interacts with customers, and/or functional peer group ICs/managers, normally involving matters between the department and other functional areas or internal customers • Regularly participates in a cooperative effort among members of a project team • May receive some instruction on day-to-day work, but receives general instructions on new assignments and areas of higher complexity.
Qualifications
• Proven track record in Product Management within the retail store's domain. • Demonstrated technical foundation with a strong understanding of change management and business processes. • Strong sense of ownership and excellent communication skills for engaging diverse audiences. • Extensive experience overseeing the lifecycle of IT products, from inception to retirement, ensuring delivery to business associates and consumers. • Proficient in managing the relationship between business functions and IT to provide effective IT product and user experience solutions that meet business needs.
