Associate Product Legal Counsel

Job Description

• Join a dynamic legal team working on a variety of legal issues across the entire company • Serve as a key legal advisor to Twitch’s business teams on all phases of the product development life cycle • Handle topics such as trust & safety, content policy, privacy, brand safety, and regulator engagement that arise out of the operation and growth of a global UGC service • Balance legal expertise and business considerations to assist product, operations, engineering, business development, and other teams

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor Degree • California Bar admission in good standing (or California Registered In-House Counsel) • 5+ years of relevant legal experience working on technology-related issues, with 1+ year of in-house experience preferred • Experience advising clients in the video, mobile, gaming, e-commerce, online marketplaces, user generated content, or internet products/services sectors • Experience analyzing and advising clients on US and international laws regarding content policies, youth safety, privacy and data protection, and/or trust & safety • Collegial attitude, desire to work on a highly collaborative team, and sense of humor
