Solutions Engineer III

Job Description

• As a Solutions Engineer you are critical in presenting the value of Mixpanel’s capabilities to a broad set of prospects. • In the first month, you will become a Mixpanel expert on both features and functionality as well as implementation. • Within the first three months, you will be directly involved in deal cycles with Account Executives. • Partner with Account Executives to drive revenue growth by serving as the key technical advisor for prospects, providing consultation on data architecture, governance, instrumentation, and business outcomes to tie Mixpanel’s solutions to their business needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Software-as-a-Service Sales Engineering or related role. • You have experience successfully qualifying and selling a technical solution by delivering product demonstrations and/or proof of concepts • You have strong written, analytical, project management, and communication skills • You have worked with one or more core web and mobile technologies (Javascript, iOS, Android, Python, Ruby, etc). • You have familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses likeGoogle Cloud, Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, etc. • You have the ability and desire to learn independently. • You have experience (preferred) or curiosity in the data and analytics space.
