Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in software engineering, including building enterprise platforms. • Leading the discovery phase of projects to produce high level design by partnering with the product management, project management, and business and user experience teams. • Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, communication skills, and a bias towards action • Proven experience in leading the design and implementation of scalable SaaS applications in Java. Experience with AWS or equivalent services is preferred. • Expertise in building and maintaining large-scale, high-volume, high-availability, low-latency systems. • Experience mentoring other engineers in a technical capacity through sharing your learnings and providing feedback that will help the team grow. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across teams and departments. • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements. • Demonstrated experience in the payment industry or in developing fraud detection applications. • Proficiency in version control, code reviews, testing, and deployment automation. • Ability to mentor and guide other engineers in best practices and advanced technical concepts.
