Engineering Manager, Developer Productivity & DevOps

Job Description

• Lead and grow our Developer Productivity & DevOps team. • Transition the team to a monorepo, and Trunk Based Development • Establish a set of standardized tools, taking developer productivity to the next level • Manage all DevProd and DevOps projects - great project management skills • Monitor key metrics (deployment frequency, MTTR, etc.) • Drive post-mortems and retrospectives to enable continuous improvement • Collaborate with the rest of the development team

Qualifications

• 10+ years Software Engineering experience • 3+ years people management experience and committed to leading and growing outstanding organizations. • Strong Computer Science background • Deep understanding of various build technologies and CI/CD pipelines. Expert in Git • Expertise with AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.. • Experience with Trunk Based Development and transitioning organizations to Trunk Based Development • Passion for simple, clean systems • Passion for velocity • Experience in project management • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and able to work effectively in a team environment, and across teams.
