PreSonus Product Manager

Job Description

• Develop and maintain ongoing market research and analysis, market segmentation, and competitive analysis • Identify incremental entry-level and consumer product opportunities • Understand good industrial design, technical specifications, and basic compliance requirements • Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams • Develop product story and product requirements documents • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales • Assure timely delivery of new product concepts • Understand and communicate the stage gate/phase review structure

Qualifications

• A. in Business/Marketing or equivalent with further training in music and modern recording/live sound practices preferred • 5+ years of experience in product management or related fields • 3+ years of experience managing ODM/OEM relationships • Technical mindset with solid understanding audio specifications, and compliance requirements • Experience in strategic planning and execution with the ability to analyze financial and market data and prepare reports, statements, and projections • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to travel abroad multiple times per year • PC proficiency in Windows and Mac environments, iOS and Android • Strong working knowledge of common business software tools • Ability to work independently and under pressure handling multiple tasks simultaneously
