Senior Technical Accounting, Financial Reporting Manager

Job Description

• Manage the preparation and timely submission of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements • Oversee the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure compliance with changes in regulations • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure adherence to audit requirements • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement • Provide technical guidance to finance and accounting teams on complex accounting issues • Participate in cross-functional teams to support financial reporting initiatives • Stay current on industry trends, accounting principles, and regulations to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is required • Proven experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and regulatory compliance • Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel • Experience in managing a team and leading projects
