Associate, International Tax

Job Description

• Assisting in the day-to-day responsibilities of the tax team • Supporting international indirect and direct tax compliance workstreams, reconciliation workstreams, and planning projects • Staying current on VAT/GST and related tax legislative, judicial, and administrative developments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Minimum 2 years working in the corporate tax function at a publicly traded company and/or a tax advisory firm • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Netsuite, and similar tools • Ability to manage a tax compliance calendar • Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams at Peloton • Experience with International Indirect (VAT/GST) and/or International Direct (Income) tax compliance for EMEA and APAC territories • Experience in preparation of VAT/GST and/or international income tax returns • Experience in identifying and documenting VAT/GST compliance issues • Experience in the preparation of monthly account reconciliations • Exposure to international tax planning • Exposure to transfer pricing documentation • Experience working with a team of skilled tax professionals
