Security Technical Program Manager
Job Location: California
Salary: $97,600 - $182,700 a year
Job Description
• Lead and manage security projects and programs from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and operations to integrate security into the development lifecycle. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management plans. • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with security projects. • Communicate project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders and executive leadership. • Coordinate and facilitate regular project meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment among team members. • Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations. • Monitor and report on key security metrics and project performance. • Drive continuous improvement in security processes and practices.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on security. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. • Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies. • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex security projects. • Excellent project management skills, including experience with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
