Staff Software Engineer (1714)

Job Description

• Analyze, design, develop, test the deployment of distributed enterprise applications • Analyze the business requirements and review it with business analyst to prepare well-defined functional specifications • Prepare technical design document, high-level software design and plan • Collaborate with the team and lead the development efforts by implementing the code adapting best industry practices and standards to deliver high performance quality software • Write unit/system/integration tests and work with QA team for testing efforts • Defect fixing, application deployment/launch, and support production activities

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and nine (9) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, as a Software Developer, or in a related occupation. • Must possess six (6) years of experience with all of the following: - Developing Java - Implementing an identity product including OpenAM - Developing enterprise application using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot/MVC, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Angular JS, RabbitMQ, Kafka - Developing and deploying to Kubernetes engine on a public cloud platform using Docker - Utilizing enterprise software architecture patterns including REST microservices architecture or MVC architecture.
