Software Engineer II

Job Description

• Implement software using technologies such as Perl (including the Catalyst web framework), Go, MySQL, JavaScript/jQuery, AWS services such as S3 and DynamoDB, and container orchestration software such as Docker and Kubernetes • Design, implement, and troubleshoot large fault-tolerant distributed software systems • Design and implement a diverse ecology of software engineering tools and frameworks surrounding ZipRecruiter's Kubernetes clusters • Design, implement, and continually refine complex and performant CI/CD infrastructure which is the combined practice of continuous integration to bridge the gap between development and operation activities and teams by enforcing automation in building, testing, and deployment of applications • Request and perform code reviews, as well as identify and resolve various security-related features through leveraging knowledge of the product and the vulnerabilities that caused the security issues to emerge

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems Management, Information Technology, or related field • Coursework must include Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Web Application Development and Distributed Systems for Information Systems Management
