Engineering Manager - Web Video Player

Job Description

• As the Engineering Manager for the Web Video Player team, you will oversee the design, development, and optimization of our next-generation video player library. • You will lead and grow a team of skilled engineers while advocating for our core values of operational excellence, engineering quality, and effective delivery. • You will establish relationships across Engineering, Program Management, and Product to drive projects and to help deliver our technology roadmap. • You will join an international team of 100+ client engineers and leaders that have helped establish Crunchyroll as the leader in its space.

Qualifications

• You are passionate about technology and the streaming space and have 5+ years industry experience and 2+ years of leadership experience. • You have the experience to sustain our core values of excellence in operations, delivery, and engineering. • You have been a developer, technical leader, and an architect of front end customer facing applications. • You have developed solutions used by millions of users. • You can demonstrate experience working with your product and program peers to help establish technology roadmaps. • You can demonstrate experience leading technology leaders and driving important engineering programs. • You have hands-on experience developing in multiple code stacks - mobile, web, backend, db, infrastructure.
