Senior Data Analyst

Job Description

• Analyze complex data sets to identify areas of opportunities, formulate actionable recommendations, and test these insights • Present analysis and recommendations to Exec leadership and work with product teams to rapidly execute and iterate based on feedback • Establish data specifications, build ETL pipelines, and assess the impact of new product releases and policy changes on the platform • Lead experimentation from designing tests to analyzing results that lead to product launch decisions • Partner with product, data science, and operations leadership to influence the direction of the product with the goal of improving user experience and/or profitability of the business • Support ad-hoc analytical projects based on Turo strategic priorities

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in product/data analytics, data science, business intelligence, or strategy consulting; experience in consumer tech, marketplaces or e-commerce a strong plus • Top notch quantitative skills; strong proficiency in conducting detailed data analysis and using metrics to drive business results • Experience designing and executing AB tests • Experience transforming data into presentations that “tell the story” behind the data • Strong SQL skills are a must; experience with BI & visualization tools is a strong plus • Must be intellectually curious, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask • Must have strong communication skills and have the ability to articulate complex insights • Thrive working in a collaborative environment and have experience working cross-functionally • Must have a positive attitude, high integrity, and strong work ethic
