Resident Solutions Architect, Infrastructure
Job Location: Remote
Salary: $170,000 - $200,000 a year
Job Description
• Implement Astronomer’s software and services in the core of some of the world’s largest businesses and organizations • Guide largest and most complex customers in their Apache Airflow journeys • Act as core interface between the Customer, Sales, and Product
Qualifications
• Strong Kubernetes experience (GKE/EKS/AKS or OpenShift preferred) • Expertise in at least one programming language • Good understanding of network complexities and architectures • Versatile Terminal and CLI user • Experience setting up and troubleshooting distributed systems • Experience with complex SaaS infrastructure operating at scale • Experience with at least one major cloud provider API/tooling • Ability to read code • Work effectively with git • Cloud-native data architecture experience • Strong customer facing skills • Strong oral and written communications skills • Embodiment of company values: Empathy, Inclusion, Curiosity, Grit, Agility, and Transparency
