People Lead

Job Description

• Spearhead the execution of HR strategies in close collaboration with Operations, Recruiting, and Finance teams • Drive the development and implementation of initiatives that support growth, culture, and employee experience • Lead headcount approvals and collaborate with Finance on strategic planning • Enhance and execute onboarding process for new hires • Manage payroll operations and benefits administration • Develop performance review processes and talent management strategies • Spearhead culture and values initiatives • Ensure compliance with people-related regulations • Manage visa sponsorship processes • Administer and refine parental leave policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree • 6+ years of experience in People roles, preferably within Series B-D start-ups • Strong understanding of start-up culture, fast pace, and employee personas • Demonstrated success in leading HR initiatives and projects • Proven ability to influence cross-functionally without direct authority • Hands-on experience with HRIS/EOR platforms, payroll processing (e.g., Gusto), benefits administration, and compliance
