VP of Product Marketing

Job Description

• Leading messaging & positioning, product marketing, and technical content marketing • Raising awareness of the real-time analytics market & StarTree’s leadership position • Creativity, strategic thinking, and management, with some hands-on execution • Supporting sales-led pipeline creation and free trial Product-led growth (PLG) revenue • Report to the Chief Marketing Officer and lead product marketing strategy & execution • Be a key stakeholder in product strategy • Lead the marketing organization to prioritize segments to pursue • Lead technical content marketing strategy • Own Analyst Relations in partnership with the head of product • Support the development of the partnership strategy by collaborating with the VP, Channels & Alliances

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in product marketing, with a minimum of 5 years experience running the function • Experience working for startups in the data & analytics space • Previous responsibility for owning messaging & positioning • Experience with category creation and shaping new markets • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously across cross-functional groups • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities
