Head of Engineering (Bolster)

Job Description

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team. • Develop and implement engineering strategies that align with our business objectives. • Oversee the development and delivery of new features and products. • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Ensure the engineering team adheres to best practices in software development, testing, and deployment. • Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define and prioritize the product roadmap. • Drive the execution of monthly initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. • Actively participate in recruiting efforts to attract top engineering talent. • Balance technical and customer-facing responsibilities to support both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a fast-growing tech company • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development • Experience in scaling engineering teams and implementing effective processes • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Passion for FinOps and cloud technologies • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Datadog, and Databricks is a plus • A kind person
