Software Engineer Intern, Research & Innovation

Job Description

• Integrating input devices (gamepads, 3D haptic devices). • Integrating sensors. (cameras, load cells, IMUs) • Implementing a filter class/library. (In cooperation with control engineers) • Developing a 3D robot visualization/simulator. • Perform debugging and root cause analysis for complex SW and HW integration problems. • System testing, data collection, parsing, and analysis for complex robotic systems.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in B.S, M.S., or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related area • Work collaboratively and efficiently in a fast-paced start-up with minimal supervision. • Experience with rapid prototyping algorithms in Python and C++ • Familiar with unit tests.
