Senior Financial Analyst (Chicago)

Job Description

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed cash flow models for various real estate assets • Analyze financial performance and projections to support investment decisions • Assess the financial impact of potential acquisitions, dispositions, and capital projects • Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis to evaluate risks and opportunities • Prepare and present regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data for internal and external reporting • Collaborate with Accounting and Asset Management teams to reconcile discrepancies and ensure full understanding of the asset and business plan.  • Work closely with Asset management, acquisitions, and accounting teams to gather and analyze relevant data • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders • Support the development and implementation of financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field; CFA preferred • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the real estate or private equity industry • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills • Experience with financial reporting and accounting principles • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Effective communication and presentation skills • Knowledge of real estate markets and investment strategies • Familiarity with financial software and tools (e.g., Argus, Yardi, MRI) is a plus • Possess skills, abilities and traits that align with the company’s Key Principles
