Job Description

• As a Software Engineer III, Video Delivery, you will play an integral part in building the future of Anime streaming at Crunchyroll. • Ensure customers have fast, reliable delivery of the content they love • Work with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers • Mentor the next generation of Video Software Engineers • Champion best engineering practices including testing, code/architecture reviews, and accurate documentation • In the role of Software Engineer III, Video Delivery, you will report to the Engineering Manager of Video Delivery Engineering. • We are considering applicants for the location(s) of Dallas, San Francisco, or Culver City. Remote work is also a possibility depending on your location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software with a track record for building robust, reliable services and solutions • Experienced with multiple modern programming languages such as Typescript and Go • Experience working with cloud technologies in AWS or GCP • Worked on solutions requiring distributed caching systems • Experience designing and implementing solutions for processing streams of data • Some familiarity with HLS and DASH streaming • Experience in an Agile environment
