Construction Manager, Project Engineering

Job Description

• Oversee and direct construction projects from mobilization through commercial operation • Manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project scopes, schedules, specifications, and quality standards are met • Be responsible for construction safety and enforce safety practices • Coordinate and solve multidisciplinary technical field issues with contractors • Manage project sites and coordinate all deliveries and sequencing of construction activities • Communicate project needs, changes, and status to internal and external stakeholders • Identify opportunities for design and constructability improvements • Define and set up processes for construction documentation • Ensure all onsite work complies with regulatory requirements, codes and standards, best practices, and other contractual requirements

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in commercial/industrial construction, including 4+ years in renewable energy or energy storage projects • Expert knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods • Experience with reading and developing construction schedules • Background and experience with major EPC or large capital construction projects
