Financial Analyst

Job Description

• Own annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting for Peloton’s Operations and Supply Chain organization • Support the monthly close process through close partnership with FP&A counterparts and the Accounting team • Establish business relationships across the organization and serve as a strategic thought partner with cross functional-teams • Influence business decisions with effective verbal and written communication, data driven analysis & modeling and presentation of options & alternatives • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to track business performance against operating plans and prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date variance analysis • Develops, tracks & reports on relevant KPI’s • Assist in preparation of board of director materials • Review existing processes, structures, and systems to assist in the identification of improvement opportunities with a focus on simplification, standardization and optimization

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in FP&A / corporate finance / investment banking • Undergraduate degree in finance / economics / accounting / mathematics preferred • Advanced Microsoft Excel / financial modeling skills and proficient in Google Suites (slides & sheets) • Ability to draw insights from large data sets • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly the ability to explain complex concepts to non-financial audiences • Must be a proactive self-starter with the ability to move workstreams forward independently and under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail • High proficiency and enthusiasm for creating new reports to drive insight into business critical metrics • Existing ERP knowledge, especially Netsuite and Oracle Hyperion Essbase a plus
