Senior QA Engineer - Fintech / Disruption and Insurance

Job Description

• Create and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API components • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test results. • Investigate issues by examining code, querying databases, and analyzing logs • Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects • Develop and maintain test frameworks for API and mobile app performance • Propose process enhancements to improve product quality

Qualifications

• Outstanding written and verbal communication • Owned automated and manual test suites in a b2b, fintech, or other quality-critical team • Skill in analyzing logs to identify issues and troubleshoot problems • Ability to test APIs effectively • Competence in querying databases to validate data integrity • Understanding of programming languages and frameworks relevant to test automation • Proficiency in maintaining a bug database and tracking issues throughout the development lifecycle • A solid grasp of the systems being tested, including their architecture and components • A curious mindset and looks for edge cases not explicitly specified by engineering or product
