Product Manager, Risk & Compliance

Job Description

• Lead the strategic vision and execution of product initiatives in the Risk and Compliance domain, ensuring alignment with Stripe's broader goals and market needs • Drive product development from conception to launch, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and legal • Champion a user-centric approach in product design and development, balancing user needs with regulatory compliance and risk management • Oversee and guide the product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives that align with business objectives and deliver maximum impact • Act as a key decision-maker in defining product requirements and specifications, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and deliver tangible value to users • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team, encouraging experimentation and learning from both successes and setbacks • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, effectively communicating product vision and progress

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven record in managing platform products at scale • Experience managing technical software products from kick-off to ship • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing large engineering teams • Expertise in navigating complex environments and transforming challenges into scalable solutions • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing decisions and driving strategic initiatives • Preferably has experience with B2B SaaS • Preferably has experience with compliance and regulation in financial services • Experience working on an infrastructure platform team
