Chief Financial Officer

Job Description
• Provide strategic and hands-on leadership for Mediafly’s Finance and Accounting functions. • Actively participate and contribute to strategic planning and establishment of financial objectives with the CEO and executive leadership team. • Collaboratively develop an operating plan, goals, and budgets, and align resources to these goals. • Capture, analyze, and deliver financial data and insights that maximize strategic decision making for the executive team and the Board of Directors. • Act as a thoughtful business partner with key leaders, helping them meet revenue goals. • Partner with the CEO to develop a strategic roadmap with growth and efficiency levers. • Identify the economic levers and key leading and trailing metrics of performance for the business, and drive operational focus around those metrics. • Manage the Company’s capital structure and capital needs, proactively interfacing with investors and lenders and partnering with the CEO to lead future financing activities. • Identify the cash flow and capital needs to support future growth, and plan for different scenarios. • Develop long-range financial plans with revenue targets and departmental investment levels including headcount. • Lead financial planning processes that facilitate and influence investment decisions including evaluating organic and inorganic growth drivers. • Manage relationships with outside auditors, banks, investors, analysts, and other advisors. • Promote a culture of high performance, collaboration, continual learning, and accountability. • Recruit, develop, and lead a highly effective team that delivers value to the organization with expert financial analysis and internal control processes. • Own compliance, clean audits, proper reporting and controls, and timely and accurate closing of the monthly books.
Qualifications
• Proven CFO experience or #2 finance leader in high-growth SaaS companies, ideally with private equity exposure. • Deep understanding of SaaS revenue models and associated success metrics. • Strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team in business model and growth strategy development. • Expertise in implementing FP&A processes to support scalable growth. • Track record of metrics-driven financial operations and organizational behavior management. • Strong leadership in team development and talent retention strategies. • Experience in successful M&A execution and integration, including due diligence and post-merger integration. • Proven experience in SaaS accounting standards, audits, revenue recognition, and tax compliance. • Skills in developing detailed financial plans and models to evaluate economic impacts of strategic initiatives. • Effective communicator and influencer with investors, board members, and external stakeholders. • Hands-on approach to financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow optimization. • Ability to drive operational efficiencies and cost management initiatives. • Technologically savvy, with experience leveraging data and technology to inform business decisions. • Knowledge of global payroll, particular emphasis on UK payroll including compliance with UK tax laws and pension schemes. • Commitment to fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
