Accounting Senior Manager

Job Description

• Manage a set of accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and external audits • Manage the monthly closing of accounts and prepare reports to support the financial statements • Report to and work closely with the Corporate Controller and others in the organization in the analysis and reconciliation of accounts and in development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls • Possess leadership capabilities and a solid operational and technical accounting background • Work proactively to drive results • Self-starter, flexible, with a high level of integrity • Action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field • US CPA designation and experience in public accounting • Leadership position in the accounting department of an operating company • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, inventory valuation, and cost accounting methodologies • Experience in implementing or working with Netsuite and Inventory Management software is highly desirable • Excellent understanding of financial statements, internal controls, and US GAAP • Proficient in financial analysis and the ability to interpret complex financial data • Strong leadership and team management skills • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal • Self-motivated and proactive • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
