Financial Reporting Analyst

Job Description

• Responsible for a critical role in model management and reporting (MRA) • Utilize Python and SQL to analyze data, identify issues, and ensure data accuracy for report generation • Develop and maintain reporting solutions, focusing on model management • Collaborate with the reporting team to troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting report quality and delivery • Create and optimize reports using Tableau or PowerBI • Leverage AWS or similar cloud platforms for data storage, processing, and analytics • Conduct comprehensive system analysis to enhance reporting capabilities and address data discrepancies • Proactively identify areas for improvement in report processes and implement solutions • Work in a fast-paced environment with a hectic schedule, managing tasks including problem identification, data correction, and report generation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and manipulation • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems effectively • Motivated individual with a proactive attitude toward learning and problem-solving • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment • Familiarity with the Salesforce platform for data management and reporting is preferred • Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms for data analytics and storage is preferred • This is a remote position and requires the ability to work in a home office environment
