Job Description

• Participate actively cross functionally to ensure alignment of logistics strategy • Provide guidance and input on logistics aspects • Build and communicate Toast's expected standards clearly • Outline risks identified with appropriate stakeholders • Implement cost-saving initiatives and lead special projects • Mentor and coach team members in all aspects of logistics & transportation

Qualifications

• 7+ years of direct experience with transportation • Managing freight forwarders required • Knowledge of logistics standard operating procedures needed • Understanding of logistics strategy essential • Strong change management, collaboration, communication skills required • Excellent analytical skills needed • Willingness to challenge the status quo necessary • Dangerous goods knowledge preferred • Demonstrated knowledge of logistics operations setup, costs management, technology systems, reporting tools required
