Sales Operations Intern - GuidePoint Security University
Job Location: Remote
Job Description
• GuidePoint Security provides trusted cybersecurity expertise, solutions, and services • Identifying potential clients and adding them to the CRM database • Updating databases to ensure information is correct and up-to-date • Expanding the database with the goal of including the total addressable market • Categorizing and labeling current and prospective clients • Leveraging resources and relationships to bring value to customers • Keeping vendor Sales Performance Incentive Fund (SPIFFs) up to date • Mapping account lists shared with vendor partners • Attending intro calls with new vendors and assisting with follow up action items • Utilizing Crossbeam data to extract possible new leads • Confirming vendor attendance for lunches and account mapping sessions • Working closely with GuidePoint teams to streamline processes and information • Developing and retaining knowledge of InfoSec Products and Industry, Vendor Resources, and GuidePoint Security Service offerings • Performing other related duties to support the region as required and assigned
Qualifications
• High school diploma (GED) required • Associate Degree preferred • Prior experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software required • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office and Internet navigation • Must be self-motivated • Must have outstanding attention to detail and commitment to follow-through • Ability to work well with a team • An unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity are a must • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely via email, phone, and written documents
