Senior Security Engineer - Detection and Response

Job Description

• Develop detections to identify threats in various environments • Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver security initiatives • Lead security incidents and investigations • Evaluate, implement, and maintain security tools • Develop strategies and frameworks to mature the Detection and Response program • Conduct threat hunts and participate in on-call rotations • Mentor team members and contribute to larger Security initiatives

Qualifications

• Experience in utilizing Splunk for threat investigation and data normalization • Familiarity with attacker TTPs and investigating advanced threats • Proficiency in at least one major public cloud infrastructure • Experience leading large security incidents • Familiarity with security frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and NIST CSF • Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages • Experience with Linux administration and system hardening
