System Test Engineer (Sunnyvale, CA)

Job Description

• Work as part of a cross-functional team responsible for full automotive software development life cycle • Define testing strategies and review product specifications • Develop detailed test plans and execute test cases • Reproduce and troubleshoot problems, report failures, and support CI/CD pipeline • Escalate issues to Project Manager / Executive team and track necessary testing activities • Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation testing • Setup and run end-to-end tests in embedded and cloud-to-vehicle test environments

Qualifications

• MS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field • 3 years experience in automotive industry working on networking protocols, security, and cloud services • Experience with automotive networking infrastructure such as CAN, CANFD, LIN, and Ethernet communication • Experience with iPerf, Vector CANoe, Peak System, Testrail, Jenkins, and JIRA • Experience with ISO 26262 and Python scripting in automotive industry • Experience with in-vehicle testing and HIL setup testing
