Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

• Lead initiatives within your squad in partnership with Product and Design. • Lead initiatives and architecture across your domain in partnership with Product and Design. • Help lead (and — if you’re up for it — manage) your domain, owning multiple initiatives from inception to completion. • Collaborate on technical vision while promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. • Champion the maintenance and continuous improvement of an observable, secure, and efficient codebase • Lead and mentor engineers in career development, encouraging skill enhancement and ownership opportunities. • Partner with product, design, marketing, and executive stakeholders throughout the product delivery lifecycle in order to achieve outcomes that align with company objectives. • Participate in an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Senior Engineer II: 5+ years of full-stack experience building well-architected systems at scale. • Staff Engineer: 7+ years of full-stack experience building well-architected systems at scale and 2+ years of technical leadership experience leading and/or managing teams. • Track record of leading and delivering complex projects by partnering with others to define and scope smaller deliverables that yield incremental value to the business and customers. • Desire to work in a high-velocity environment, continuously learning, and mastering your craft. • If you’re a front-end specialist, you have experience building great user experiences with an eye for design. • If you’re a backend specialist, you’re proficient in modern backend system design and architecture.
