.NET Staff Software Engineer

Job Description

• Collaborate with managers and staff engineers to provide technical leadership across teams • Model and mentor best practices to improve engineering processes • Communicate and assist in developing architectural standards and mentoring developers in their use • Craft code that demonstrates expert understanding of object-oriented design, refactoring, clean code, clean architecture, and solid engineering principles • Follow the Test-Driven Development (TDD) paradigm • Work with Product and UX Designers to create clean, intuitive user interfaces • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and code reviews • Mentor team members through pair programming • Solve complex problems with knowledge, passion, and curiosity • Partner with our DevOps team to build and support CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

• 8 + years of experience building backend software utilizing our technology stack • Expert-level experience in unit testing • Understanding of domain-driven design • Experience in defining cross-team interdependent roadmaps • Experience working in an agile environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Enjoy sharing ideas with, and learning from, other team members • Ability to effectively estimate engineering work within 6–12-month timelines • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field • Prior experience as a team lead or technical lead • Understanding of Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) • Past experience converting legacy applications to a microservice architecture • Experience with Revenue Cycle Management software
